Heron Model Boat Club – “The club was represented at Brighton by just four senior members and one junior member, but still managed to display eighteen boats. The pool was quite busy during the three days with demonstrations of Titanic, Lifeboats, Submarines etc but periods of free sailing were allowed and several of our boats were put on the water, with varying degrees of success!!”

British Radio Car Association – “Modelworld is a long standing show based around Trains , Planes and Automobiles but with Boats and anything else model related thrown in along with the occasional Dalek much to the chairman’s delight. New for this year the stand was updated to encompass a change to our presence at the event. Primarily supporting the local clubs our stand location was changed to be more centrally located in the main arena. With the sight and smell of steam engines along with the regular (short) voyages of the Titanic and its associated iceberg giving a regular spectacle and atmosphere to the arena.”

Hollycombe– “Hollycombe will be exhibiting at the 2013 Brighton Modelworld show on 22nd-24th February, the South’s premier model event. The world’s oldest Showman’s Road Locomotive, Hollycombe’s 1895-built Burrell ‘Emperor’, to be on display in a prime position outside the Brighton Centre which will greatly add to Hollycombe’s exposure at the show. In addition, we have been asked to take along our Juvenile Dobby ride to exhiibit inside the Centre which will be giving rides to younger children.”
